I am proud to recognize and honor the Vietnam Veterans of Lancaster County with a special commemorative ceremony.
The 2008 National Defense Authorization Act authorized the secretary of defense to conduct a program to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War. A special Vietnam Veterans’ lapel pin has been produced and will be distributed to attending veterans.
To sponsor this event, I am partnering with Reps. Mindy Fee (R-Manheim), Keith Greiner (R-Upper Leacock), Steven Mentzer (R-Lititz), Brett Miller (R-East Hempfield) and Dave Zimmerman (R-East Earl), as well as Sens. Ryan Aument (R-36) and Scott Martin (R-13).
All veterans who served on active duty in the United Stated Armed Forces between Nov. 1, 1955, and May 15, 1975 – regardless of stationing location – are invited to attend this event. Questions regarding the event may be directed to my office at 717-284-1965.
Registration is required for this event. Please register online by clicking here or call my office at 626-796-3044.
